The Chicago Way w/John Kass: The Iron Triangle of Deception

Chicago Way w/John Kass (08/18/25): New York Post columnist Miranda Devine joins John Kass and Jeff Carlin with a look at how President Barack Obama’s misdeeds compare to Richard Nixon, what candidate for mayor Zohran Mamdani means for NYC, and whether voters will ever get out from the stranglehold of the Iron Triangle deception created by deep state actors, the media, & politicians. Plus, Kasso wonders if disgraced FBI Director & sycophantic Swiftie James Comey know how cringy he is?

  1. Thank you John, Jeff, and Miranda.
I was thinking of author Victor Laskey and his book “It Didn’t Start With Watergate” as to the relationship between the “deep state” and the media/press. in this country. The only difference between now and Nixon is that there is flurry of alternatives and points of view in then current media whereas there was not when Nixon was in office. I love listening to Miranda talk and her use of real English words in her descriptions, such as “dodgy” and “morsels.” I read past novels and books to get an authentic view and insight into actual human relations, both social and political, they are timeless and reveal realities without being purposely trying to push a point of view.

    1. Mr. Kass has ignored such requests on multiple times in the past. Judging from the number of comments from his podcasts, as compared to his “news” very few of us listen to his podcasts anyway. When I have, I’ve found them often too long, too tedious and honestly too boring. His presentations generally sucks. If he can’t respect many of his loyal followers in his audience so as to at least provide a transcript perhaps he can take a lesson from Joe Rogan and make his podcast at least visually enticing and interesting.
