   John, regarding Ray Lopez’s idea for amnesty I believe there is a fatal flaw in his plan.

   If the non-citizen in question is a documented, legal resident of the USA with a work permit then there is no fear of deportation as that person can show he/she is here legally and is allowed to work.

   However, if the non-citizen in question is NOT in the country legally but IS working then one of two things must be true…. 1) They are working for cash under the table and very likely not paying taxes, or 2) They have a stolen Social-Security number. Either way is criminal and should result in prosecution, fines, prison time and/or deportation following incarceration. And that applies to the employer as well.

   As for social welfare benefits…direct payments to illegally present persons may not be receiving direct aid but when they present themselves at a hospital they are not turned away and receive treatment. They may receive a bill, but it likely will not be paid. The hospital then may use federal or state programs to offset that bill meaning the illegals ARE receiving indirect benefit of tax dollars, tax dollars that should be used for the benefit of US citizens and persons residing legally in the US.

   No country can survive, intact, without control of their borders and without ensuring that the people residing in that country are present legally. This is not a difficult concept. The Marxists among us have one goal and that is to destroy our government and way of life. Most of those who have been rioting in Broadview at the ICE facility are just useful idiots egged on by paid agitators.
