Now you know why America’s real presidents—perhaps White House Chief of Staff Ron Klain and Susan Rice—have kept Joe Biden in the basement for so long.

The other day they let him out for all the world to see. They had to let him out, with his poll numbers dropping. Initially, he appeared somewhat competent as he obediently read what they’d written for him to say.

But then the questions came. And the world could see him fade away.

Of all he was asked at his White House news conference, Mr. Biden was not asked a single question about the epidemic of rising violent crime in American cities ruled by Democrats.

But he was able to reveal the important thing, proving in public what Americans have long suspected. His mind has become soft, like a melted dish of his favorite ice cream. And in his twilight, he offers the world a dangerous dessert, one with nuclear weapons rather than cherries on top.

There is nothing as menacing to the world as a weak president in deep political trouble who is desperate to be led by the hand. And what Biden babbled about Russia, inviting Russia’s killer Vladimir Putin, into Ukraine is chilling.

If former President Donald Trump or any other Republican acted this way, the entire country and all media would be dusting off the 25^th Amendment. But Biden is a Democrat, and if he were removed via the 25 Amendment, it would mean installing the vapid and thoroughly unqualified Vice President Cackles in the White House, who has already demonstrated her incompetence. Biden (or Klain and Rice and others) chose her for immutable characteristics. Her obvious failing becomes his insurance policy.

 So Biden is given protection by corrupt corporate media. And the day after his disastrous news conference, team Biden went out on the news shows hoping to clean his mess up.

But there is no spinning out of this or cleaning it up. He’s the president and America is on the hook with him now.

The world watched his performance.  Democrats watched, and the intelligent among them should now realize the contempt in which they’re held by this White House. Republicans and Independents also watched, confirming their concerns about his cognitive state and overall incompetence.

It certainly wasn’t necessary for Putin to watch–he already knows about Biden– but I’m sure he did watch.  And China’s Xi Jinping knows about Biden, but he watched, too. They plan their moves. They are not fools.

Biden created an international incident out of Ukraine, inviting a Russian military advance. With Russian troops on the Ukrainian border, Biden told reporters, ” It depends on what (Russia) does. It’s one thing if it’s a minor incursion and we end up having to fight about we have to do and not do.”

Oh, just a minor incursion?

Hey Vlad, Joe says you can roll your tanks in now.

The moment the president said the words “minor incursion,” the White House panicked. The Ukrainians were outraged. Even CNN–always eager like Gunga Din to carry the Democrat water into battle–conceded the president had soiled himself.

“Clean up on Aisle State Department,” quipped CNN’s Dana Bash.

The White House communications team tried to clean it up and walk it back, but the damage was done.

“We want to remind the great powers that there are no minor incursions and small nations,” angry Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy wrote in a tweet. “Just as there are no minor casualties and little grief from the loss of loved ones. I say this as the President of a great power.”

Ukraine is not a great power. It is a strategic security issue for Russia, not for the United States. The Democrats raised the U.S./Ukrainian relationship during their failed attempt at impeaching President Trump. There was no plausible case for impeachment. But that’s politics.

 The Southern border of the United States is our strategic security issue, not the welfare of a nation so far away. But Biden doesn’t care about our American strategic security issue, our border. He has pushed the gates of illegal immigration into our country wide open to satisfy the appetites of his left wing.

Ukraine’s border is Putin’s interest, geographically and strategically. No sane person wants anyone to die there or for Putin to roll in his army across its borders. But for years the war hawks of  the bi-partisan American War Party have played games in Putin’s backyard, threatening him and thinking they could get away with it. You poke the bear in its own cave at your peril.

I disagree with the president. I don’t like his long career as a race-card playing fabulist, and that whopper he tells repeatedly like Commander McBragg that he was arrested trying to see Nelson Mandela is tiresome. It was a lie, like so many of his other lies. And corporate media lets him get away with it, treating him like the president one day, and just a poor old man screaming at clouds the next.

Oh, that’s just Lunch Bucket Joe. At least he’s not Trump. C’mon man.

I don’t like the easy way he panders to his base while portraying Americans who disagree with his unconstitutional federal grab of our elections as irredeemable racist segregationists. At his news conference, Biden said if Democrats lose the mid-term elections in November of 2022, the results will not be legitimate.

Doesn’t the American establishment become enraged when a president questions the legitimacy of elections? Or does that outrage only apply to Republicans?

As I said,  Mr. Biden is my president. He is our president.

His performance at the news conference was a terrible thing. What does a weak and desperate leader do to change the subject from his public failure? Or let me phrase this another way: What do presidential handlers leading a weak old man by the hand do to maintain their power? Desperate enough, they take risks.

The day after Biden showed the world his brains were banana pudding, here’s what happened: The warmongers of the bi-partisan War Party and their media cheerleaders began barking for Biden to “show strength.” Agitating for America to show military might in Russia’s backyard?

All it takes is one mistake, one miscalculation. “Show strength?” This is insane.

Whoever bosses him around now, whether it is Klain or Rice or Dr. Jill, should know that any miscalculation with Russia along the Russian border isn’t something you can walk back by spinning on friendly idiot talking bobbleheads on The Today Show.”

Even an accidental war with Russia will make what happened in Iraq and Afghanistan look like kids playing “Ring Around the Rosie” next to the swingset. And they all fall down.

Biden’s press conference was disastrous. America knows it now. Most reasonable journalists from the left and the right know. They can’t unsee it. America can’t unsee it. But that didn’t stop some journos from squawking like a flock of empty-headed jays to defend Biden. None of the empty-headed jays were as  brazen as NBC’s White House correspondent Yamiche Alcindor.

“President Biden, in the longest news conference in presidential history, pushed back on critics, called out lies, took responsibility for mistakes he believes he made, expressed surprise at the GOP, talked foreign policy and didn’t lash out on reporters. Quite the change,” she gushed in a tweet.

How NBC keeps her on reveals all you need to know about how bankrupt corporate media has become.

“Not even [White House Press Secretary] Jen Psaki would be willing to write something so gushing and propagandistic,” responded Pulitzer winning journalist Glenn Greenwald, a man of the left. “As I said when she was hired by NBC, the more out in the open they are about their absolute loyalty to the Democratic Party, the better: the more people will see what their real function is.”

What is Alcindor’s real function, exactly? She’s like some odd public servant walking the streets of London in the late 19th Century, with a long pole and a wick:

Alcindor’s real function is that of a gaslighter.

There was a devastating exchange between Biden and reporter James Rosen, formerly of Fox News, now with Newsmax. Rosen asked the president about polls showing that half of registered voters question Biden’s cognitive health. Biden bristled.

Rosen: “Well, so, the question I have for you, sir, before — if you’d let me finish — is: Why do you suppose such large segments of the American electorate have come to harbor such profound concerns about your cognitive fitness? Thank you.”

Biden: “I have no idea.”

Of course he has no idea. He hasn’t had one for years.

Mr. Biden is technically the president. They call him Mr. President but is he the leader of our nation? No.

Best to think of him now like a floating fishing bobber, the kind found in the tackle box of an old man who really never learned how to fish.

Yet he’s awfully eager to please. He’s always been a back slapper, with his son Hunter grifting with him across the world. Joe has wanted to be president for decades now, and he’ll obey those who helped make him.

If Ron Klain and Susan Rice  blow the presidential bobber this way and that way across the water, well, it’s what he signed up for.

And he is our president. Whether you like him or not, whether you respect his abilities or not, whether you’re angry with the Democrats and media for installing this doddering old man in the White House or not, all of that is no longer material.

Biden is the president. He floats with the winds, and we’re all wriggling on the hook with him now.

And Putin and Xi Jinping?

They wait under the surface, like pike in the shadow.
