Walz: “I’m a knucklehead”—Indeed you are, governor!!

As Ohio Sen. J.D. Vance and Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz walked into the CBS studio for their one and only debate, Americans knew one thing for certain:

The world is on fire. Democrats lit the match. And sound American leadership is required if the United States is to survive.

Americans tuned into that debate to determine which political party could show it was ready to lead in crisis, and to measure for themselves the judgement of presidential candidates Democrat Kamala Harris and Republican Former President Donald Trump. As the two men walked into the studio, Iran had just fired more than 180 ballistic missiles at Israel, with most of them stopped by the Iron Dome.

Days and days after Hurricane Helene savaged victims in North Carolina who were still without power and drinkable water, the people there were still waiting for the unprepared Biden-Harris administration to reach them with aid.

There is a military airbase with heavy helicopters nearby at Fort Liberty, N.C. to reach areas where roads have been ruined, but where was the Secretary of Transportation, the smarmy and unctuous Mayor Pete? Where was Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas? The death count increases by the day.

Mayorkas was telling the survivors of Hurricane Helene the federal government had run out of money. The feds took our taxes and passed out billions for the illegals, for benefits and hotels and goodies, but now nothing for native born American citizens who pay their taxes and follow the rules and need their government’s help. Think on that. They haven’t seen FEMA, they aren’t getting help. All they get is the Democrat Party’s back of the hand. And the corporate media isn’t spreading the true story. They’re covering it all up to protect the Democrats.

They should be yelling this out loud 24/7 the way they yelled at President Bush’s handling of Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans. But now? They’re just poor Americans up in the mountains. To elite media and the Democrats, they don’t count.

And unctuous Mayor Pete issued an order to stop drones from flying over storm damaged western North Carolina, to stop the people there from seeing FEMA do nothing. What’s even worse is that the Harris-Biden administration is thwarting private rescue missions.  Most of the work feeding the people is being done by volunteers, not the Biden-Harris feds. Why? Did the victims vote the wrong way in the past?

All that was in play when Walz and J.D. Vance shook hands Tuesday night.

Even by charitable standards, Walz was out of his depth. He was a disaster.

If you took a large pink ham and scored a line through it crosswise, and left it there to sit, confused and incapable of thought, rather pinkish and embarrassed, blushing and overwhelmed, that was Tim Walz.

Yes, I know he’s a hard leftist Democrat who let Minneapolis burn, not some pink ham. But that’s what he reminded me of.

Especially when Walz was asked about misleading people and blatantly lying that he was in Hong Kong during the Tiananmen Square massacre in China. He said he  “misspoke.” He did not. He lied repeatedly and lied some more. He is a liar.

Walz said he can “get caught up in rhetoric” and that “I’ve tried to do the best I can, but I’ve not been perfect. And I’m a knucklehead at times.”

A knucklehead? Stick cloves into him, and pour over some Boars’ Head ham glaze, perhaps some marmalade.

He knew that of his many, many lies, that lie of his about being in Hong Kong during China’s Tiananmen Square massacre of Chinese students would come up.

The story was percolating throughout leftist media. It was bound to be asked. It was. And he failed.

The CBS witches were so angry they tried to shut off J.D. Vance’s microphone, as if they were Chicago Mayor Johnson suffering another panic attack. But that failed too.

Kamala Harris had one job to do: show she could select a running mate who could lead if need be. Harris failed miserably.

Walz was a joke.

Harris’ first job since the coup that took old Joe out was to vet, then select a vice presidential candidate. She failed abysmally and it showed.

“Can you imagine Walz succeeding to the presidency?” texted a lifelong Chicago Democrat during the debate. “That is scarier than a President Harris. Is that possible?

Yes, that’s possible. God help us.

I thought the United States could not survive a senile crook like China Joe Biden. If Waltz were forced to lead the country after a “President Harris,” then I have no doubt that China would invade. And many of the bi-partisan Combine would rush to kneel, Charles Schumer and Mitch McConnell would lead them to crawl on their bellies. Not you. You wouldn’t do that. You have common sense.

Common sense enough to know beyond a shadow of a doubt that Vance dominated the debate. A writer debate for The Federalist speculated that left wing media outlets like CBS would keep him off their air forever.

“It’s safe to assume we’re never going to see J.D. Vance on live television again,” wrote D.C. columnist Eddie Scarry, “least not until after the election is over.”

The reason why the vice-presidential debate was important is simple:

There have been two assassination attempts on President Donald J. Trump. The U.S. Secret Service, under the Department of Homeland Security (Mayorkas), is a fetid woke DEI mess. And Trump is almost 78 years old. A vice president has to be ready at a moment’s notice.

Vance looked the part.

Walz did not.

Even the leftist news panelists on leftist CNN knew it.

Vance Jones and David Axelrod looked as if they were about to cry. Perhaps they were mourning all the work the hard left had put in demonizing J.D. Vance.

We have no president now, and our enemies are preparing to strike.

Harris and the Democrats finally made their way Thursday to politically critical Appalachian states hoping to change the subject from Walz’ debate disaster and to Harris talking of selflessness by first-responders. But all I could hear was Americans spitting rage at Harris, Biden and Mayorkas, telling them where they could stick that $750 check.

At least we know one thing about the debate: Sen. J.D. Vance’s debate performance against the ham was his first debate of his 2028 presidential campaign. It was so good that the Republican neo-con witch Nikki Haley went on the attack, releasing her inner green-eyed demon of jealously, saying that the MAGA movement was beginning to “fringe out.”

I don’t think so Nikki. And J.D. Vance doesn’t think so either.
