There’s an old Chicago joke that goes something like this….what three streets in Chicago rhyme with the essential part of the female anatomy? Punchline: Melvina, Paulina, and Lunt!

With apologies to the late, legendary Broadway and West End acting duo The Lunts-(Alfred Lunt and Lynn Fontaine), we have a problem these days with “Lunts” murdering their children.

I first noticed this evil several weeks ago while watching news reports of the lesbian Governor of Massachusetts, Maura Healy, signing a bill in August calling for the legalization of abortions up to and including birth of your baby.

This is scary. Many of the animated versions online of this horrifying scene in American history included depictions of the Gov. and her cadre of abortion advocates smiling with fangs and blood dripping out of their mouths and down their throats.

The most frightening aspect of this satanic ritual is that it actually happened, not behind closed doors at midnight by a witches’ cauldron guarded by rabid Doberman Pinchers or Satan crackin’ open a brewski in hell’s kitchen as he watched the girls cook up a stew of pure feckin’ evil, NO it was on television fer feck’s sake!

Is this what feminism hath wrought?

I’m sure those ladies will be happy to know it scares the beejzus outta me. Calling abortion “reproductive rights” is like snacking on baby body parts and tellin’ us how sweet the infant’s toes and testicles taste when served with a lovely olive oil. Yikes!

No matter the euphemism it will always mean the death of a tiny, defenseless human being. A child. And that ain’t right. It’s satanic.

And then last week we had the murder trial of Lindsay Clancy in the triple homicide of her three toddlers. And the outrage of feminists who are upset that the jury was deadlocked by one lone, black male juror who didn’t buy the defendant attorney’s case of “post-partum depression.”

Lately there’s been lots of talk of AWFLs in the Democratic Party, Angry White Female Liberals, or is it Lesbians? Hey I got nothin’ against lesbians; we share the same fondness for sweets. But Angry White Female Lunts? That scares the hell outta me.

And don’t kid yourselves; this is a movement of very creepy women. It would actually make a very scary horror movie if it wasn’t the feckin’ truth.

It’s too bad Gloria Steinem kicked the bucket last week, she could have played the lead. But alas we still have Hillary Clinton to scare the balls off the rest of us as “Luntism” takes over the country.

I was thinkin’ about this the other day, (Sept. 8^th), while at mass for the feast of the Nativity of our Blessed Mother and was reassured by the Blessed Mother. Talk about a female being put in a situation, when guardian Angel Gabriel appears to her and sez you’re gonna give birth. She was no Lunt!

The Gospel of St. Luke 1:26-38 describes the conversation between St. Gabriel and the Blessed Mother.

In the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God to a city of Galilee named Nazareth, to a virgin betrothed to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David; and the virgin’s name was Mary. And he came to her and said, “Hail, full of grace, the Lord is with you!” But she was greatly troubled at the saying, and considered in her mind what sort of greeting this might be. And the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God. And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bear a son, and you shall call his name Jesus.

He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High;
and the Lord God will give to him the throne of his father David,
and he will reign over the house of Jacob forever;
and of his kingdom there will be no end.”

And Mary said to the angel, “How can this be, since I know not man?” And the angel said to her,

“The Holy Spirit will come upon you,
and the power of the Most High will overshadow you;
therefore the child to be born will be called holy,
the Son of God.

And behold, your kinswoman Elizabeth in her old age has also conceived a son; and this is the sixth month with her who was called barren. For with God nothing will be impossible.” And Mary said, “Behold, I am the handmaid of the Lord; let it be done unto me according to your word.”
