Have a Very Merry Chicago Way Christmas

This Christmas, will Mayor Lori Lightfoot get big fat hugs from the Chicago Way podcast the way she got big hugs in the past?

I’m not telling. You’ll have to listen to this edition, the Chicago Way podcast Christmas edition with Jeff Carlin and me, to find out.

We talk about the race for mayor, which truly amps up after New Year’s Day, and how most of Chicago just wants Lori gone, they’re sick and tired of her act.

Jeff Carlin says Lightfoot’s poll numbers show the mayor “playing from behind, as they say in sports.

“People are onto her. People see what she is. She’s lost any of the young vote I think that was following her in.  I mean my wife (Christine) was all excited for her when she was elected too and was hoping she (Lori) was going to change things and do a lot of good for the city,” Carlin said. “And now she just can’t stand her just like you and wants her on the river to float away”

But what does the notorious idiotic socialist race-baiter, Ald. Byron Sigcho-Lopez, 25th, want in his Christmas stocking? I’d say he’d beg for brains because he’s in desperate need of them.

But I just don’t know how he’d use the gift to advantage. A few questions on the topic “Christmas Brains for Byron”

Will brains work if just tilts his head to the side and pours them into his ear?

Can you keep a couple pounds of brains in a Christmas stocking? Or do they get soggy and drip into the fireplace? And if they’re not human, can you add them to soup?

There’s more to it, including how race cards will be played and how the candidates will demonize each other and enlist their media friends. And a special mention of Liberal Democrat Dawn Clark Netsch, who looked just like Whistler’s Mother when she was alive.

It’s all here. All you have to do is click on the links provided and listen for yourself.

Thanks for listening to The Chicago Way podcast and for subscribing to johnkassnews.com
