Pritzker’s Angry Violent Left Kills Any Hope of Immigration Compromise

One mistake people who don’t know me make is when they say I’m uncompromising.

That’s bs. I’m not uncompromising, except when it comes to bad whiskey, rude bartenders and snotty leftist journalists.  But when it comes to human beings, I’m all about listening to what reasonable people have to say in offering to avoid unnecessary strife.

The strife of the AWFLs (Angry White Female Leftists) or the Latina equivalent,  which, is awfully unattractive  to those voters who aren’t rabid commies.

So I was all ears when Chicago Ald. Raymond Lopez was a recent guest on the Chicago Way Podcast to discuss possible compromise for law abiding illegal migrants who’ve been here for years, but who haven’t committed crimes. And I leave the podcast link here so you can hear for yourself.

“Well, there’s a pathway, John,” said Ald. Lopez.  “There really is. And I think the question is, are we willing to find a solution?

“Or are we just doing this so that we have an excuse to continue to fight Donald Trump and pander to the most extreme of our party? We can find a solution.

“And there’s a very simple one, which I presented to Donald Trump in my letter a few weeks ago, which is you have to take the broken immigration system that we have on a two-tier track and look at it from that perspective.

“You have to deal with the Biden-Harris migrants separately from how you deal with the long-term undocumented who have been forgotten about since Barack Obama first took office. And we can address both simultaneously and still achieve the goals that he put out as well as finally produce on something that Democrats have long talked about, which is granting amnesty to those long-term undocumented individuals. In Chicago, mostly Mexican individuals who are those hardworking people in our communities who have been waiting for a path forward, we can grant them a pardon, grant them amnesty, grant them a path forward.”

Amesty?

Hmmm.

Amnesty?

I listened to it again, while drinking a good cup of delicious Kribe coffee from my cool black Golden Moutza coffee cup.

I’m not completely against the concept. And millions of Latinos came here to work, and were promised jobs. Republicans loved the migrant surges to keep American labor costs down. And the late great Ronald Reagan allowed for it too, but then after he supported compromise, Democrats stabbed him in the back as they often do.

Millions of illegals got amnesty, but it did nothing to stem the invasion. And sanctions against employers and border security were under enforced. The Democrats mocked him and millions more came over. And now Pritzker is drooling past his fangs.

Lopez’ compromise sounded intriguing and I was reminded that conservative  Victor Davis Hanson has also discussed the issue in terms of compromise—or at least compassion. I like Ray Lopez and have always found him a reasonable man.

But then the news invaded the Lopez peace. And any chance of compromise was broken, thanks to Pritzker.

And one of Chicago’s most violent street gangs, the Latin Kings, made headlines calling for the assassination of federal agents. The Kings were doing Pritzker’s bidding.

“Customs and Border Protection officials said Latin Kings street gang leaders have issued a “shoot on sight” order targeting agents involved in immigration operations in Chicago, NewsNation has learned.”

“Officer/agents are reminded to maintain heightened situational awareness and exercise extreme caution when conducting enforcement activities,” the agency’s internal warning said.

News of the alert comes after shots were reportedly fired at federal agents during an immigration enforcement operation in the city’s Little Village neighborhood on Saturday.

Another headline:

Mexican gangs offering up to $50K bounties for ICE agent assassinations in US, DHS says

Federal law enforcement officials suspect Mexican criminal organizations are funding a scheme to pay thousands of dollars in cash bounties for the killings of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents, with payouts allegedly increasing based on an employee’s rank and actions.

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) on Tuesday announced the alleged bounty system offers $2,000 for gathering intelligence or doxxing agents — including photos and family details — $5,000 to $10,000 for kidnapping or non-lethal assaults on standard immigration officers, and up to $50,000 for the assassination of high-ranking officials.

The left is always devouring its own, a lesson taught by the Bolsheviks who destroyed the Mensheviks in revolutionary Russia, a lesson taught now by AOC to hapless weakling Senate Minority Leader Who Gives a Chuck Schumer, as the hard Marxist American left devours Schumer whole.

With all that history, you’d think that Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker—who loves exhorting angry Latino crowds against the government–would have paid attention to the past.

But he did not.

In that news link, note what one of the TV talking heads said to the other, making sounds of conciliation yet terrified of triggering leftist Latinos.

“Tensions are high, I don’t think anyone can dispute that.”

Tensions are high, yes siree bob. But as Pritzker runs from commie aldermen, and saves up testosterone to talk tough at Greg Bovino’s back, there is even more tension.

Who is Pritzker defending? Child sex traffickers? Drug dealers?

Dude, I’ll tell you who they’re protecting: The narcotraffickers who killed 100,000 young Americans last year. The illegal migrants beholden to criminal gangs.

Good and decent men like Ald. Lopez think of compromise.

But shameless weasels like Pritzker and his violent radical left wing unions ruin the idea of common ground, they take over the streets, ramming I.C.E. vehicles and shooting at law enforcement isn’t about seeking common ground. It is about violent demands, like the old Confederate slave owners at Ft. Sumpter firing on union troops to protect their slave trade.

We won’t compromise with coward gang bangers, and definitely not with politicians like Pritzker who has been exhorting violence, but does it the coward’s way, without leaving bloody fingerprints of his own.

I will never compromise with that odious creature. Never.

They must be rooted out and stamped out.

They lurk under government rocks, hiding, as did a staffer for U.S. Sen. Tammy Duckworth. The staffer who allegedly impersonated a lawyer to free a dangerous ICE detainee. But he was not a lawyer.

Amnesty? Conciliation?

Not for those coward gang bangers, and definitely not for the slimy politicians exhorting violence against sworn law enforcement officers. Never. Not for the narcotraffickers selling sex slaves. Never.

And Duckworth has always been a rather dim bulb, a DEI hire always prattling slogans eager to take orders from senior Democrats. Duckworth, Pritzker, Johnson, and the more malevolent labor unions like CTU and SEIU aren’t remotely about working Americans.

They are the neo-confederates hoping to keep their slaves and profit by them as they did in the 1850s in South Carolina. But this is 2025. We didn’t compromise with slave owners then. So why are we defending narco gangs that sell little girls as sex slaves now?

For politics? I spit on their marxist politics.

We are the Americans. They are the confederacy.

There’s no compromise with them now.

  1. Duckworth is nothing but a DEI sympathy vote. She has all the intellect of a tree. When it comes to governor toilet bowl, I don’t understand why he’s not in prison for obstruction or worse. In Chicago, the voters had an excellent choice with Paul Villas, and, as usual, the 13.2% voted in another intellectual dolt.
Am a native Chicagoan who left years ago for greener pastures, but it still breaks my heart to watch home dissolve into chaos, death, and bankruptcy.

  2. Duckworth fitted all the DEI qualifications including being on the intellectual level of her fellow feeble Democrat Maizie Hirono who has done very little to advocate for her fellow vets…..I guess my criticisms make me racist, misogynous, ableist, and anti-amadan. The last election was a line in the sand and still is, an illegal alien is still an illegal alien.
I am amazed at the poll recently where a large percentage of young women in this country would rather reside in another country when these AWFLS and Karens created the ground for all the violent illegals to prey on these very females…like the serial punch-in-the-face perp who locally keeps slugging females in the kisser.

  3. Too true! For decades when teaching my students to take notes and analyze I’ve held an imaginary flashlight over the corner of a desk and asked them what’s illuminated? I’d move it to all 4 corners, then hold it 3 feet over the test and ask again. My point, get out of the weeds and take the 35,000 ft view of the situation.
Chicago has a housing problem, an unemployment problem, a failing school system, and massive corruption. Illegal immigrants are competition for low end wages and housing, downward pressure on the wages, upward pressure on housing costs, and a font of corruption due to their legal status. How does opposing deportations help Chicago?
The current administration in DC is attempting through tariffs, foreign investment, energy policy, and deregulation to reindustrialize this nation after globalism [the giant sucking sound] deindustrialized it. Chicago has a great location, abundant water, good infrastructure [relatively] but lacks cheep & reliable power, chaos and crime in the streets, a predatory/corrupt govt, and horribly ineffective schools? Who is putting ANY effort to correct this and take advantage of new policy?
Point this out steadily & loudly and maybe things will change, but I don’t see this happening.

  4. There’s an old saying: “Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.”

When the Reagan amnesty was passed, politicians and legislators (big overlap there, but not *quite* the same group) promised that immigration laws would be enforced, and there would be no more amnesties.

    Fooled us once.

Now, after millions more have illegally crossed into the US, we’re told to issue another amnesty. That would be fooled us twice.

    No.

Yes, I absolutely do feel compassion for those who come to the US for better lives. But the solution isn’t to simply say, “Well, they’re here and they’re sad and poor.” The solution is to rework our immigration system and then enforce it. Our patchwork system of quotas, and lotteries, and “special” visas such as H1B and H2A and heaven knows how many more simply does not suffice. I spent a decade contacting Senator Durbin and Senator Duckworth, asking them to please do their jobs and restructure immigration. What I received in return were form letters thanking me for my interest… and news bite after news bite of them with illegal immigrants pleading to follow Emma Lazarus’ poem on the base of the Statue of Liberty.

Not one word about them actually legislating for change.

Maybe I wouldn’t have liked the changes that were passed. Maybe I would. But the fact that they did nothing – and I did search bills they proposed, sponsored, or co-sponsored and found nothing (and then we fled Illinois).

But I will NOT put up with being fooled twice. Not by them, and not by current legislators. Fortunately, one of my senators is reasonable, and our rep in Congress is as well. But I iknow they’re not enough.

  5. I loved my life in Chicago. But life really is so much better away from there, away from Illinois. Nobody down here in South Carolina gives a damn about Chicago’s problems- these are problems brought on by the stupidity of the chumbalones. Everyone complained about Lori Lightfoot, but then the go a vote in a clown who’s ten times worse. Sorry Illinois, no sympathy.
Never underestimate the blind stupidity of northern urban voters. NYC just proved this point.
