Those corruption-hunting feds are now in the belly of the beast of Illinois, rooting around in there.
And that criminal indictment of Tim Mapes, Boss Madigan’s longtime chief of staff, is causing panic.
Mapes knows a great deal about Mike Madigan and Madigan’s friend and confidant Michael McClain, the former lawmaker and Commonwealth Edison lobbyist and consultant who was charged last year with orchestrating the alleged ComEd bribery scheme.
