Chicago Way w/John Kass: Willie Wilson calls critics “mentally ill” for questioning his motives

Chicago Way w/John Kass (08/17/26): Businessman and philanthropist Willie Wilson joins John Kass & Jeff Carlin to talk about why he wants to run for Chicago mayor again, who he thinks is ‘mentally ill’ for questioning his reasons, and what he thinks about people running for two offices at once. Plus, Kasso wonders if Michael ‘Jaws’ Giorango is still on good terms with Alexi Giannoulias?

  1. Mr. Wilson brings forth an op-ed column about every six months with lots of good ideas. We should do this….the mayor should do that….the police could always do something…..
All good ideas, but there is never a pathway outlining how his good ideas might actually happen. Most of them would be possible if we didn’t have the “elected” office holders we have, but that can’t be changed.
Does he believe they will all ask “Why didn’t we think of that?” and get on board the solution train with the CTU, the pension black hole and the problems caused by illegal immigrants?

Mr. Wilson, who became a millionaire by selling latex gloves to hospitals during covid, has lots of good ideas, but the solutions are never really there.

  2. I’ll be damned if that is not what our first Black President of the United States will sound like – I’ll know it. Obama, no offense – but no where close.

Take what this guys says literally – and a beautiful Lousianna accent at that

  3. I know the leftist media won’t report on Broadway bank and Giannoulias dealings, hopefully it’ll come out during the campaign.
BTW, I believe Mike Giorango died in prison about 11 years ago, cancer.
