John it was great to hear your voice, it sounded healthy and strong. May the “Great Healer” breathe his healing spirit into your heart you for a full recovery.
John, one column a week should suffice, as they say, “dead men tell no tales,”, and dead scribes write no columns, we are not going anywhere.
My old babysitter Effie who was Greek invited me to an Orthodox Easter barbeque where we played a game like musical chairs but passed around a broom and if you got stuck holding it you were eliminated, what was the name of it?
Happy to hear your voice again. I’m ok with the reduced work load and the guest writers. We need a healthy John Kass to keep the conversations going on the state of the world. Looking forward to your brother Nick joining you and Jeff on the podcast. He’s always interesting and informative. Hope you enjoyed your Easter with your family. Take care. ( Can’t wait for more discussions on the nationality of Columbus. )
While Italians were lynched in Colorado, Kentucky, New York. Actually honoring Columbus was/is meant to fight systemic racism toward Italians, especially in towns like Boston, New York and Chicago.
But Kass is no Ham and Egger – he knows this, but I’ll still help him here.
Superb Ham and Eggs BTW, and heard on caring for the heart. Well noted
Thank you
Johns back! This is like an Easter Miracle! Johns posting last week updating us about his health led to the usually curmudgeons Rudd, Maitano and even the dreaded formerly banned “Riga- Tony” to leave genuinely genteel and sincere best wishes for Johns health. These positive vibes must have reached deep into the cosmos, reflecting in Johns well being improving enough to host this weeks podcast. Yes, The Power of Positive Thinking can work wonders. Can peace in the Ukraine be far behind? Trump versus Iran? Trump versus the Pope? Trump versus the World? Peace is at hand. I’m optimistic and looking forward to cracking open a good pale ale when I light my grill to flame sear some good pork and fresh corn this afternoon. Might even put on the TV and watch the Cubs game today. Oh well, it seems like a good excuse to drink beer anyway….
Yianni,
Always a pleasure to hear your voice, sounding stronger each time! So, Xristos Anesti to you and your family, and your bro as well! Hang in there!!!
