The Chicago Way w/John Kass: Midterm Madness
Chicago Way w/John Kass (10/12/26): Charles Lipson is back to join John Kass & Jeff Carlin. Charles is the Peter B. Ritzma Professor of Political Science Emeritus at the University of Chicago and an author whose writings can be found in the Spectator, Spectator World, The Telegraph, and more. On the docket this week are why voters in Texas are stuck voting against -not for- a candidate for Senate. Plus, Kasso wonders if there’s room in the ‘Saritha Komatireddy Fan Club’ after she made Letitia James look foolish -not a hard feat- in a debate between candidates for New York Attorney General.

How sad that our Voting rights have been taken away. I received my Voter Registration and also received one with my address on it and 2 Man that do not know. This is bogus and this is how the Liberals Win. They cheat and I know that for a fact. Mailing ballots must be dismissed folks. They have 2 weeks to change the Votes for their own kind. Awful and ridiculous. I neve Vote before Voting Day. NO MAILING BALLOTS PEOPLE. WAKE UP. SAVE AMERICA.
So funny to hear Chales Lipson discuss Lambert’s Cafe and Gulf Shoe, AL.
I too am from the MS Delta and worked for the Illinois Central RR for years, including 4 stints in the Chicago area.
While working in Memphis (circa 1981), I flew down to Gulf Shores in a small, private plane and spent a couple of days in Gulf Shores. At that time there were only a handful of houses on stilts and a State Owned “resort” with a modicum of rooms — the beaches were pristine and covered with sea oats. I was there again last week to play golf and (now) it reminds me of a typical Gulf Coast resort with all of the traffic and resort amenities – akin to Biloxi, MS and/or Myrtle Beach, SC
I used to visit the original Lambert’s in Sikeston, MO when I was a transportation officer with the railroad and my territory stretched from the Chicago IMX Facitilty to south Fulton, KY. It was a very unique place – “throwed rolls, pass along veggies” and always a crowd.
I now live in SC but still love listening to The Chicago Way Podcast and reading Kass News articles!
Mail in ballots are a secure and safe way to vote. Not allowing this deprives citizens who are handicapped and bed or house confined OF THEIR RIGHTS.
Those are called “absentee ballots”, and they have been around for a very long time, and one must qualify to be eligible to receive one. These current mail-in ballots go out to anyone and everyone and offer no election integrity whatsoever and the Democrats use them to steal elections.
Thanks guys for a great discussion.
The attempt by the Left and their modern day Bolshevik Democrats to enlarge the Supreme Court and add States to gain political power, which they have not been able to achieve through the legitimate democratic process, is a direct reflection of their Russian Bolshevik predecessors in 1917 who though they did not have a majority in the democratically elected Russian Constituent Assembly, then abolished it to fit their needs and gain power…..it is always about power not democracy nor the will of the people.
