The Soros Sisters: Kim and Kamala

By John Kass

Friday, Aug. 16, 2024

As Democrats scurry to put the finishing touches on approved memory for their national convention propaganda festa next week, a few words about memory that is not approved.

Consider the two sisters in the photo.

Kamala Harris and Kim Foxx aren’t technically related, but they do share a (spiritual) father: George Soros.

In keeping with Soros’ views on criminal justice, Harris as California Attorney General decided to do away with the old-fashioned business of charging criminals with retail theft.

And Kim Foxx, her spiritual sister in Cook County followed suit, dropping the stuffy practice of charging criminals with crimes.

In 2020 Soros prosecutor Kim Foxx released this gushing message on “X” to praise Kamala Harris’ soon-to-fail presidential campaign.

“I’m so excited that @KamalaHarris has decided to run for president. I would not be where I am today without her guidance during my first run for political office, and she has continued to mentor me as I work to reform the criminal justice system in Cook County.  —KF”

Where once retail theft (shoplifting) were crimes, under the Soros prosecutors like Foxx they disappeared.

That isn’t to say that theft magically vanished, because it didn’t. And small businesses continued to shut their doors because they couldn’t survive. But the thieves were not prosecuted.

Since prosecutors in Cook County weren’t eager to prosecute, human nature dictated that the police wouldn’t arrest people. Arrests were a waste of time. Direct conflict with criminals would leave cops vulnerable to political retribution.

I suppose I could bore you with a series of smash and grab videos—including crimes at downtown jewelry stores with thugs in masks and hoodies swinging hammers—but you’ve seen enough of those.

You won’t see many next of these this week because 1) Chicago is hosting the Democratic National Convention and 2) political conventions are all about disseminating approved memory. By the way, this is not “approved memory,” so proceed at your peril.

But the vacancy rate for downtown Chicago has reached 30 percent, not due to Covid, but to the Black Lives Matter riots and subsequent smash and grab sprees of theft. This puts increased strain on taxpayers.

The vacant storefronts of downtown Chicago grin at the city like a mouthful of broken teeth.

You won’t hear much about that either.

Putting Harris and Foxx and Soros and anarchy into one column would make the “civilized” turn up their noses. It’s rather like forcing them to sniff ammonia.

But Soros has busily been about promoting anarchy in the West by electing permissive prosecutors that I call “Soros prosecutors.” They don’t prosecute crime; their political slogans racialize this because they don’t want to put minorities in jail.

And his eager Marxist minions have furiously guarded them to the point of cancelling dissident journalists while shouting that democracy dies in darkness.

So, Kim and Kamala were like sisters, using the Marxist playbook to portray law enforcement as a function on “white supremacy,” even though the wounded civilians lying in their own blood on the sidewalks were mostly black and Hispanic and most of them women.

But it worked for them, and housebroken journalists of corporate media backed their malignant idiocy as violence gutted and then cleaned out the blue cities.

But the Soros boys, George and his son Alex weren’t finished.

Though they had spent hundreds of millions of dollars supporting left wing causes, they recently rushed to endorse Harris for the presidency.

Alex Soros, is reportedly chair of his father’s organization, the Open Society Foundations. He has run the dark-money left wing influence group since George handed him the helm last year.

The Soros Sisters have so much to share.

After the convention they can sit on the comfy couch with a bottle of wine and fine chocolates, and the Soros sisters can go through the artifacts of civil society:

Like their support of Black Lives Matter rioters, and the pro-defund-the-police movements, and the fat checks from Soros’ Open Society Foundation networks and other dark money.

It’s all there.

And so is a hug for Jussie Smollett, the oily actor who faked his own hate crime and falsely blamed it on white MAGA supporters.

That hug is out there too, even though Kamala and Kim won’t take selfies with him and he won’t be given a speaking role at the DNC.

But if they’re the Soros Sisters, he’s the evil little brother.

Because it was Smollett, the bad actor with the Obama White House clout who finagled his way out of punishment for all but fomenting a race riot.

He was forgiven for fomenting “insurrection.” It was all ignored. They didn’t even slap his wrists. Why not? The corporate media was in on it, and to thwack Jussie meant thwacking ABC and all the others who bleated out the Smollett slogans.

So, it was ignored.

Jussie was put in the memory hole along with the bleach and his white silky noose that he insisted the MAGA attackers would lynch him with, and his buff friends, the Nigerian bodyguards, and the rule of law.

So, for Jussie and George and Kim and Kamala, lest we forget.

  1. “The vacant storefronts of downtown Chicago grin at the city like a mouthful of broken teeth.”

    Brilliant, John, me lad!

The Soros sycophants have given Chicago the old Englewood pumpkin head.

  2. Lest we forget the big city newspaper editorial board that tarred a Chicago truth-teller with lies and innuendo. But he would have none of it. With his reputation intact, he fought back with the sword of truth. History has shown it was Soros the nazi collaborator all along. And Kamala is a major beneficiary of Soros largesse.

  3. Chicago is not a place you want t9 be next week… well unless you are of the hoodie and black mask crowd.

I pity the poor CPD who will have to face the Antifa/BLM thugs.
They will have to do it without the backup of the National Guard this time because Jelly Belly is afraid of the “optics”.

  4. So many brilliant take aways here, John. Soros Sisters, spiritual sisters, house broker journalists. All to destroy our beloved country and the once respected rule of law. All we can do is to vote early and to pray.

  5. The husband of a co-worker of mine was (is? I’ve retired since then…) an insurance adjuster for a company that handles corporate retail companies.

In the summer of 2020, he predicted that Chicago’s Magnificant Mile would be gone within 5 years, as stores could no longer afford what their insurance costs would need to be, based on the amount of retail destruction, theft, and lack of prosecution coming.

    He was sadly correct.

  6. Yianni,
I fear this coming convention will be like 1968 on steroids. So much hate has been fomented by the leftist/socialist media, that I just can’t see it becoming a “spirited but peaceful protest!” Once again, Chicago will burn, for the whole nation to watch on prime time, the remnants of a once beautiful city, that actually worked…until the Soros sisters and his minions infiltrated the DA and SA offices, thus succeeded in defunding the police. Should Trump be sentenced to prison in NY come September 18th, then prepare for the forthcoming civil war, that I doubt will be very civil. Theos Filaxi!!!

  7. Literary sage Hickey quickly caught this column’s gem: the “mouthful of broken teeth.” And every reader catches the Kass specialty of hard truths presented in a way that makes the reader smarter.

Inspired by that tough Chicago simile of broken teeth, here’s another bit of brief poetry, the 17-syllable Japanese haiku:

    Filled with nothing but
    Lies and gibberish, Harris
    Smiles at Soros crime.

  8. Unfortunately, another hard truth: Harris is surging, and Trump is fading like an imploding celestial star, and there is only a month to turn it around before early voting begins.

    1. Wow! You really believe the bullshit the media feeds you. Ask for another steaming plate of it and have a big spoonful. The media is currently dressing that sows ear right now along with that pig testicle she’s running with. Yes, we’ll proudly wear our silk purses when the media is finished with them. Conservative media are completely wrong in demanding the Harris/ Numbskull ticket release their platforms. We already know their platforms. We’ve had four years to see their platforms in action. Open borders, runaway inflation, crime and anarchy. Socialism is large in this platform. Medicare for illegals. Higher taxes since someone has to pay for these giveaways. The highest interest rates in 40 years. Forget about ever owning a home. Abortion on demand. If its past six months of gestation you just gotta use those forceps to snap that neck to dislodge that lil bugger! Here’s something to think about though. If these guys had successfully assassinated Trump they would have kept Biden in the election to drag his senile carcass to victory with massive help from the media that leads you. Biden would have stepped down within weeks of winning the election with Trump now murdered. Harris would then be appointed President without ever having won a primary or election. Far fetched? Nothing is far fetched anymore. The ouster of Biden only happened after they failed to kill Donald Trump. We were only centimeters away from this being a reality. Yes, the Democrats nearly pulled off The Banana Republic Revolution but failed. A president that was never elected. An appointed president. Just like Latin American elections. Fitting since we’re letting in half their populations into this country. It’s a good thing the Democrats are in the process of saving our democracy…

  9. Vacant storefronts in downtown Chicago (you live in Indiana now, right??) are such because the bustling mass of workers commuting into the city only appear 2 1/2 days a week versus 5 pre covid, and you can’t sustain a business with 50% less demand. Moreover most businesses use free lunches, snacks and beverages as a way of motivating hybrid workers to come into the office. I walk from Union Station to Fulton Market three days a week, I’ve yet to witness as much as a loud argument. My only regret is Kuma’s Corner doesn’t open for lunch (but JP Graziano’s is, a line out the door but sooo worth it!!) Crime isn’t a factor, it’s a scare tactic.

  10. FYI while you are ranting (AGAIN) about the great red boogeyman Soros, these nuggets of wisdom from Trump’s presser on the economy, given in from of his billion dollar waterfront mansion:

“They’re (China) building a coal plant every week, but now I hear it’s two coal plants a week. And we’re dying for energy. We don’t have energy. And they’re getting set for the AI because they’re gonna create so much electricity and we’re not gonna be able to do it, but you’ll do it if I have it. Because that’s an emergency.” Donald Trump.

“Instead of playing this game with wind that is ruining everything, killing all your birds, destroying the fields, all these gorgeous fields, you got windmills all over the place and you have birds. You want to see a bird cemetery, just go under a windmill. You see thousands of birds dead.” Donald Trump.

    1. You miss one important point: People do not want to work Downtown anymore. Everyone I know that works Downtown is trying to find a way out. Between the cost of commuting, the crime, and the general atmosphere, who needs it? By the way, would you be so comfortable in that area after dark walking your dog? Hello, Detroit, oops, meant Chicago.

      1. Don’t disagree and full disclosure, I’d prefer virtual to hybrid. But Tuesday through Thursday downtown feels like it used too, and I often walk home late, no issues. Detroit is an unfair analog, Chicago never relied on one industry.

    2. Senor Grande: China actually is building at least 1, and more likely 2, coal electricity generation plants every week. Possibly you’re unaware of it, because Democrats who identify as journalists think it’s a fact that might cause you to doubt the wisdom of Net Zero.

With the US switch from coal to fracked natural gas for electricity, the US has cut our CO2 emissions substantially. China has easily increased their CO2 by much, much more.

You may also be unaware that computer clouds take lots of electricity, 24/7, to run compute intensive Artificial Intelligence (AI) programs.

Wind & solar are part time sources of electricity that set their own hours. You can’t make either of them work overtime. You might ask if there has ever been a successful test of Net Zero anywhere in the world. Nope. Long term energy storage, like batteries, is way too expensive. Look up the Manhattan Contrarian blog for lots of details.

Finally it’s a fact that wind turbines kill lots of migratory birds. You can look it up, if you use Freespoke.com as a search engine. Google is biased, and might not show you what everyone knows.

      1. So, you took Trump’s jumbled, nonsensical word salad and parsed out the points he MAY have intended to make, correct?? You think he has someone wipe his behind for him?? Pin his mittens to his jacket?? “Freespoke” is a Conservative wackadoodle search engine that amplifies fringe positions, conspiracy theories and all searches lead to porn. Not interested.

        1. Are you freaking serious? Only a mental midget, Kammie, could not understand President Trump’s message. At least he will do press conference whereas Kammie and her boy toy, Tampon Tim, have a sit down chat and discuss unicorns and petunias. Now Kammie has come out with her disastrous economic plan borrowed from Hugo Chavez and will have about as much success as the Venezuelan economy has shown.

Señor Grande, you now have permission to go back to your desk in Kim Foxx’s office of no justice for victims of crime.

          1. “The late great Hannibal Lector, you know, he had an old friend for dinner and um…Sharks and Batteries..”

Now he is using again his fake name, Senor Grande. He has also used Rigatony.

Thank you for canceling my subscription.

          1. It’s not an airport David R, you don’t have to announce your departure, no one cares…

  11. Excellent JK.

thanks to the Soros philosophy, and prosecutors, the major cities in this country have become killing fields. How many young African American men have to continue to be cut down in this daily genocide?

I am so tired of seeing sobbing mothers and family members on the tv news clips, as the victims get younger and younger. As they say, if it bleeds it leads.
The snippet ends now we turn to the weather person and sports.

We move on oblivious to the harm and destruction, a person is dead, not caring about the young kids who witnessed the tragedy, how their psyche is going to be affected for a life time.

No one cares, its forgotten immediately, as soon as the fire dept washes the blood from the street, the bloody plastic gloves to the curb, and all that remains is a few strands of the yellow police tape, the new symbol that has replaced the American flag in the inner city.

Sadly it is only going to get worse..

Kimmy does not care about the inner city kids, as she sits in her suburban castle in Flosmoor, with a security detail, in the event of a soda pop bombing.

Boss Preckwinkle does not care as the two County Forest Preserve Cops sit outside her condo.

Sheriff Dart does not care as a Sheriffs Police Officer sits in his drive way.

The jail is only a quarter full, but yet the county hires more people, for facilities not in use.

Mayor Johnson has a security detail of one hundred twenty Chicago Police Officers, when the peasants who need the police wait eight or ten hours for a Blue and White.

Soros and his political cronies, live in a protective bubble, far away from the reality of what is occurring, and what they have created in our cities.

    Fantasy has become reality.

  12. I saw a report on yesterday’s news that many of the remaining businesses downtown have started to board up their windows and doors to try and protect their businesses from damage next week. It’s an expensive they probably can’t afford but they can’t risk the expense of having their stores damaged and looted (again). All this for a political convention that’s not necessary as the political elites have already staged a coup and disposed of their elected candidate and replaced and coronated their own selection. Taxpayers should not have to pay for this political commercial. Send the bill to Soros.

  13. It’s troubling to see on the news the boarding up of buildings in Chicago in anticipation of the convention. The media stories will be about the destruction outside the convention. Will it be worse than 68? Will we hear the words mostly peaceful protest?
I’m so over the medias spin on things. And never are the words oops we made a mistake.
I’ll just sit here and wait for the media to tell me the White Sox’s are going to the Supper Bowl!
    Thanks for your words.

    1. I’m betting the media downplays or ignores entirely the chaos on the streets. They already do that, and they really, really need a big boost from the convention to put Cackles and Tampon Tim into contention.

    1. It’s not just the USA. It’s all the western democracies. He and his elitists One World Order pals want an oligarchy run by themselves to decide what happens in the world.

    2. Happy to enlighten you, Mike. It’s a mistake to see the Soros faction — Socialists / Communists / contemporary Democrats — as just well-meaning liberals trying to sustain a failed ideology.

They are actually sociopaths. They hate capitalism, individual freedom, open-minded news, and anything that interferes with their mental and moral distortion.

      You’re welcome.

      1. What I don’t quite understand is that Soros is not alone. Most of the ultra wealthy in Hollywood, Silicon Valley, and folks like Bill Gates, many times richer than Soros, and even some high profile investors on Wall Street (Larry Fink, I’m talking to you) bad mouth the very system – capitalism – that made them rich and in fact financially support those that want to destroy the system. In fact they are the high priests of DEI, Democratic Party cheerleaders, and all the other DP inanity. They all can’t be sociopaths. Or can they? So what’s going on here David? What do you think?

    3. Excellent point Mike, and the exact rock against all the Soros fear mongers break themselves against. You ask the right question: WHY? WHATS TO BE GAINED by being this ideological bogeyman?? Just take a look at the answers below, conspiracy theories and empty rhetoric, but no explanation. Exactly. Just a smokescreen used to paint any and all liberal POVs as destructive and in this case, evil. But easier to say he’s the personification of evil as opposed too admitting the trope is anti semitic.

  14. If we still had dictionaries, there would be a photo of George Soros next to the word EVIL.

He is hellbent on destroying the freedoms and liberties we once enjoyed in this country. He laughs with glee at his accomplishments. And I have heard his son is even worse.

    God help us.

  15. I’m not sure I can completely agree with Senor Grande. First off I ‘m not sure why he disguises himself with the name he uses. I’m sure he’s just afraid to use his real name. Though he tries to portray a brave person with saying he walks home late and has no problems. You can believe he is afraid. I do know that downtown was decimated after the George Floyd riots. Thise riots were the begininng of the end of downtown Chicago as we all knew and loved for so many years.

I lived my entire in Chicago and always loved the city. The past decade has been very trying. I was there the first several days of the riots. I was working for the Chicago Police Department and spent 14 hours downtown commanding a platoon the first day of the riots. We saw businesses burglarized, cars set afire, and people running in gangs challenging the police. This was the beginning of the end. The chaos was unimaginable. We were assigned on the Gold Coast, never in my life would I have imagined this type of activity could take place in this neighborhood.

So Senor Grande, there is a reason for all the vacancies. Yes, Covid has some responsibility, but fear is the major contibutor to reasonable citizens not going downtown anymore. Not everyone carries a weapon nor should they. But, the bad guys have weapons and prey on the vulnerable. This why the sheepdogs must stay visible to protect the flock.

    1. Mr. Bilotta: Senor Grande real name is Tony Cesare. Previously he posted under another pseudonym: Rigatony. One reason perhaps he cowers behind a pseudonym is that he once actually tried to assume the identity of another … or at least give the impression that he was someone who he was not. He claimed on his prior FB page that he was the owner of Tony’s Tap in Mineral Point WI. This was an out right lie. The real owner – also named Tony – denied he ever knew him. Given that, I would take anything Tony Cesare (alias Señor Grande) posts with the proverbial “grain of salt.”

    2. Paul its no longer the city we were raised in and proudly worked for.
Lets just pray every day that our guys and girls our safe, no one is killed or maimed.

Remember not one media outlet reported on the injuries sustained by the CPD, during the Floyd riots or at the Columbus protests. A young Sgt lost partial sight in his eye, another lost part of a ear, broken bones, knee caps, torn cartilage..
      Concussions.

the city had all this time to prepare and we still have a major problems with people with out gas masks properly fitted, and the helmet shield has a major problem for officer safety we can not discuss on a public forum..

    3. What exactly should I be afraid of Paul?? I have the courage of my convictions, same as you. Señor grande is a nickname among my friends but as my good friend Bruce points out, most know my real name. I respectfully disagree with both your points. I routinely walk from Fulton Market to Union, sometimes after 8. My son and I attend Sox games (I know, ugh..) and are Season ticket holders for a few select Hawks games. We eat out beforehand near the stadium. We eat out along Halsted Avenue. We take the red line. To date I’ve not seen anyone smash a window. The GF protests, ugly and tragic, happened 4 years ago. Only right wing media keeps that dividing flame alive (while conveniently calling Jan 6th mostly peaceful, but I digress..) Every major city in America is being forced to reinvent its purpose post covid, work forces will never go back to full time en masse, virtual and hybrid are the norm. The next great financial crash will be commercial real estate, and I’m guessing John already has half a column written, ready to blame it on fear and the GF riots. Thanks for the thoughtful reply, my name is Tony.

          1. Senor Grande -You make good sense. I spend a lot of time downtown myself and greatly enjoy it, especially in summer.
Both of my young daughters and most of their friends live there.
The actual facts are that it’s actually a little safer than when most of us were young. Like in any city, there are risks and you need to use common sense.
