Thank you Paul for an excellent analysis filled to the brim with justified righteous anger in your voice. But once again we are doing a post-mortem on a already dead once great city, not near the brink but beyond the pale. The “good” news of the week is that Democratic Senator Don Harmon’s safe political world was threatened when a staffer of his was threatened by a knifer….welcome to the thousands of the wretched of the earth in the county who experience crime every day. Paul, like the man fleeing the city in “Invasion of the Body Snatchers,” take John’s advice and do not waster your time on the “dead.” As St Paul wrote “You have fought the good fight”… now it is time for you to “finish the race.” “You have kept the faith.” “Let the dead bury their own dead.” JC
What a shame that the CTU and the Preckwinkle Democratic machine prevented Paul Vallas from becoming mayor. He would’ve been an excellent mayor and could have saved our city from the disaster we are experiencing now

Well, let the games begin. Another candidtate, Treasurer Maria Pappas has thrown her name into the mix for mayor of Chicago! Don’t know if either Paul or Maria can salvage what will be left of the city after mayor Pannix gets done with it. I wish one of these two qualified candidates would run for governor, so we can rid ourselves of Dumbo and his socialistic tendencies. But that’s just me…how far we have fallen….but then, if only 19% of the voters get off their butts to vote, this is what we get…
Always great to hear Paul Vallas who has a lot of common sense. Such a shame that the sheeples and the chumbalones didn’t elect him mayor. We need more people like him in politics
