Democrats Wear the Jacket for Crime for the Midterms, The Chicago Way

The American crime crisis has not only terrified the American people, but crime has also terrified the Democrats, because their policies and fortunes are directly tied to the crime numbers.
And it looks like they’re going to wear the jacket for crime on Election Day. They get what they deserve.
Jeff Carlin and I sit down to talk this out with Charles Lipson, writer, commentator, scholar of American politics and the Peter B. Ritzma Professor of Political Science Emeritus at the University of Chicago.
And now you’ve had your fill of that wretched candy corn, and the left is weeping about having lost Twitter, wondering if the federal government could have done something, anything, from Pelosi’s Democratic Congress or the Obama 2.0 White House, anything.
Some of you might realize that the pressure is too great for some Democrats. The delicate lacy mind palaces they’ve built for themselves with the media’s help seem to be cracking, too.
They’ve gone mad.
Like King Lear. Like Blanche DuBois in “A Streetcar Named Desire.” Like Captain Queeg because “The Caine Mutiny” was all about the strawberries.

I still haven’t figured out the story behind the weirdo in Pelosi’s house with a hammer. Is the attacker an illegal alien? Am I prohibited from asking in my own country?
Or why establishment media types like pro-Democrats Chuck Todd of NBC’s “Meet the Press” and Margaret Brennan of CBS’ “Face the Nation” were trying to use the attack as a weapon against conservative Republicans, but there is no way of telling how low they’ll go, is there?
Did they worry as publicly about Supreme Court Justices Brett Kavanaugh and Amy Coney Barrett and other conservative justices threatened by a leftist mob?
No?
You might think they’re picking sides. And if you dare think that, you might think voters might be angry.
At least the attacker who hit Paul Pelosi will be detained on bail. But what about the next time a hammer game happens in Illinois? Will the attacker be released on no-bail courtesy of Gov. J.B. Pritzker and the Illinois’ Democrat’s No Cash Bail law, that is opposed by 100 of 102 Democrat and Republican state’s attorneys in Illinois?
We’ll be pulling on that thread too.
Just don’t touch Nancy’s strawberries.
