As we recorded this, Jeff Carlin and I should have been sitting before a fire, scotch and soda in hand, and not double dipping chips into the Mrs. Grass Onion Soup Dip mix, with Zeus the Wonder Dog asleep at our feet.

We do count our blessings.

We’re thankful for the bounty of Chicago politics and so much more. This land, this great nation, the World Cup, the Twitter Trump Drama, Bosses who want your butts at work in the office (at work) and so on.
